Mr. Haya's entrepreneurial activities have appeared in various media including; CNN, US News & World Report, Dow Jones, Red Herring, Business 2.0, ZDTV, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Herald, Salon Magazine, and The San Jose Business Journal.

His most recent board of directors included Jack Marshall, former CEO of Altavista Technologies. The Advisory Board members include Ed Bennet, the former CEO of Prodigy, Inc., Marty Levin, a former executive with Microsoft Corp's MSN. The team of people that contributed to CoPortal had managerial positions with Google, Match.com, Netscape, Charles Schwab, Cisco, E*Trade, Music Boulevard, Bay Networks, Excite, Best.com, Altavista Technologies, and Razorfish. 

Mr. Haya holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from RPI (Rensselaer PolyTechnic Institute) and a Patent Pending for mass equity ownership of Internet companies.

Lawrence Lui - Managing Director and Founder

Lawrence & his family are founders of a multinational conglomerate with more than 200 subsidiaries and 20,000 employees worldwide, principally engaged in properties, entertainment and leisure, hospitality and construction materials in Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Southeast Asia and major cities in the US.  More info can be found here:

Lawrence began his career as a consulting engineer for the Diablo Nuclear Power Plant Project in the field of structural, geotechnical and earthquake engineering. In 1984, he set up the San Francisco based Cresleigh Homes and Stanford Hotels Group, a home building operation and a hotel investment and management company, respectively. Under Mr. Lui's direction and guidance as President of the Group, the annual home building production has reached over 350 and the hotel portfolio has grown to seventeen full service hotels in ten U.S. metropolitan areas with major hotel brands including Hilton, Sheraton and Marriott. The Group has over 3,000 employees and annual revenue of approximately $250 million.

Recognizing the potential for long term growth in technology, Mr. Lui focused his attention on the creation of a high tech investment division in January of 1999, which invests in stocks of both public and private companies. 

Mr. Lui received his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from University of California at Berkeley and his Master of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a Registered Professional Engineer, a General Building Contractor in California and Arizona and a Certified Hotel Administrator
